Charity Auction

As you may or may not know, I recently was asked if I wanted to donate something to a charity auction. So I decided to redraw my "A Flower for every year passed" piece on an 11 x 17 board in pencil and ink and donate that. Here it is. I think it turned out nice. This will be donated at The Z Mansion (www.zmansion.com) on October 17th at 6pm. I am VERY proud of this piece.

Lull in Art

Haven't posted anything for about a week, mostly due to the opportunity I just got: I have the chance to submit a piece of my work to a charity auction, so I've been pouring ALL of my creative energy into that one piece. I've decided on redrawing my 9/11 picture on an 11"x17" board. Pencil and Ink. I'll be sure to post the finished work here, but for now, I'll post a drawing I did a while back titled "Little Red RoboHood". (I think I should do THIS one next on 11x17)
Enjoy!

Hulk Sign

I made this to remind me to not get so angry at work. Gonna put it up tomorrow, so we'll see how it works.

Twin Towers JLA

THIS one takes some explaining. I saw this idea done by someone else online, but the pictures they picked for the JLA were HORRIBLE. (looked like 30 x 50 pixels. real grainy and hard to see) so I decided to take my own crack at it. The JLA is done by a man named Alex Ross. The picture of the towers, who knows who took that (not me). But I put it together in Photoshop along with the narrative box up top. Enjoy.

Devil Button

This was a silly sketch I did right before leaving work today.

A Flower For Every Year

No explanation on this one. It turned out great. can't wait to see what more I do with it.

Rook

I designed this guy...well, I'd like to say it was on purpose. Any artist that says characters don't draw or write themselves is selling something. No idea where he came from, but I like him and he's mine now. And just as there's a story behind every character, I've already planned on incorporating him into a story I'm working on. (SO many pokers in the fire of my head.)

Flying Wox

Here's another drawing I did from the Wox series. Not much to say...he's flying. I'm VERY fond of this one. So much so that I'm almost afraid to ink it. :)

Wox And Cub

I've been REALLY into the art of Mike Wieringo (even without knowing it was him to begin with) and due to copyright restrictions (because I haven't asked permission) I can't post his art. However, I can do the next best thing: post art I'VE done that was inspired by his asthetic. So here is the first of many art posts from yours truly. Got a story I'm working around this, but it's not fleshed out. Enjoy

Blogsplosion!!!!

Welcome to the fantabulous world of another blog *Sigh*. This was mainly designed so I could post mass amounts of sketches, comics, doodles and anything else I feel like gracing with my talent (HA!). No sketch this blog since I'm just starting. (Hopefully I'll start this weekend.) So keep coming back and I'll try to post as often as possible.
Thanks for reading,
Ross

P.S. Any comments are welcomed, but keep it clean and friendly. I'll delete any undesirable comments
